Director of Finance - Maternity Leave Replacement

Maternity leave replacement: We are seeking a highly-skilled Director of Finance to lead the finance team.

This role is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including financial and cash reporting, payroll, risk management, planning and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance within the tech sector, experience managing financial operations, and a strategic mindset to support the company’s continued expansion. This is a leadership role that requires a hands-on approach, collaboration with the company’s management, and the ability to optimize financial performance in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What you will do:

• Leading the monthly and annual closing process of the company and its subsidiary
• Managing and guiding the accounting team to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with financial reporting standards
• Overseeing the monthly payroll process
• Support the annual budgeting process, monthly forecasts, and long-term financial planning to ensure financial stability and growth
• Active participation in customer cycles and oversee the revenue, billing, and collection
• Monitor cash flow, manage financial risks, and optimize working capital to support business operations and expansion
• Ensuring compliance with local and global tax regulations and supporting strategic tax planning initiatives
• Support the ongoing finance operations
• Partnering with leadership teams to provide financial insights, drive business decisions, and support strategic initiatives
• Improve financial processes and implement financial systems for better efficiency and accuracy
  
  

• CPA from a big 4 accounting firm
• 6+ years of experience in finance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably in a fast-growing tech company
• Strong accounting knowledge in US-GAAP, with a detailed understanding of accounting methods, reporting, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and revenue recognition
• MS Office, particularly Excel proficiency is a must ‎
• Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Accurate and detailed oriented with a high level of analytical and professional skills
• High level of independence and self-examination
