Software Team Leader

What is the job:

Radware, a leader in Cloud and Cybersecurity services, is looking for a highly motivated, experienced Team Leader to lead one of its growing, inspiring development teams.

In this role, you will lead a team working on a multi-tenant, high-scale, distributed SaaS ecosystem running on a Kubernetes-based platform. This platform powers cloud security services, including infrastructure management, customer self-service configuration, monitoring, reporting, and analytics.

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for both technical leadership and people management, driving the team to deliver high-quality solutions while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

What will you do?

• Lead and mentor a team of talented engineers, ensuring high performance, motivation, and professional growth.
• Drive the technical vision, design, and development of the next-generation SaaS security infrastructure.
• Take ownership of project delivery, ensuring quality, scalability, and reliability.
• Design and oversee the development of robust CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes-based containerized applications.
• Define and implement strong monitoring and self-healing procedures for cloud-based systems.
• Maintain and support application deployments, leading architecture discussions and optimizations.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, DevOps, and Product teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Introduce best practices in software development, system design, and agile methodologies.
• Be hands-on when needed, guiding the team in Golang/Java development, cloud infrastructure, and Kubernetes.
  
  

What do you need to succeed?

• 8+ years of experience in backend development and infrastructure roles.
• 2+ years of experience as a Team Leader, managing engineers in an agile development environment.
• Strong management and leadership skills, with a proven track record of leading teams successfully.
• Expertise in AWS infrastructure management and cloud-native architectures.
• Deep understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and SaaS platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, ArgoCD, Nexus, or similar).
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and related tools (Helm, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch, ClickHouse, Kafka, NATS, Redis, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and observability tools.
• Strong programming skills in Golang or Java.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and drive technical initiatives.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
