POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Video Editor to elevate our media team. This individual will be instrumental in producing high-quality video content that resonates with diverse audiences. The ideal candidate possesses strong editing skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for storytelling. They thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and have the ability to lead projects from conception to completion. As a Senior Editor, you will contribute innovative ideas, mentor junior staff, and ensure the continuous advancement and success of our media initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Edit raw footage into compelling, engaging videos utilizing industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro and Adobe After Effects).
• Develop and create compelling motion graphics that enhance storytelling, align with brand guidelines, and elevate the visual impact of media projects.
• Collaborate closely with the creative team, contributing to brainstorming sessions, developing concepts, and executing projects from start to finish.
• Ensure all video content adheres to quality standards, brand guidelines, and project objectives while meeting strict deadlines.
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, effectively prioritizing tasks and managing timelines.
• Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support in editing techniques and creative processes.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in video production and editing.
• Organize, manage, and maintain production files and video libraries to ensure efficient workflow and accessibility.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Extensive experience in video editing and Motion graphics, with a strong portfolio to demonstrate expertise.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects.
• Strong understanding of audio editing principles, sound design, and motion graphics.
• Experience with color grading and visual effects to enhance video content.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to take direction, provide constructive feedback, and work collaboratively within a team.
• Exceptional attention to detail and advanced organizational skills, ensuring all aspects of production are meticulously planned and executed.
