Network Security Engineer

What You’ll Do

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure and high-performance network infrastructures.
• Implement firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network and security systems for maximum uptime and efficiency.
• Conduct risk assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
• Ensure compliance with industry security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, etc.).
• Respond to cyber threats, incidents, and vulnerabilities in real-time.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and development teams to ensure secure system integration.
• Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, tools, and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in network engineering and cybersecurity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs).
• Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint security solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
• Experience with penetration testing tools (Nmap, Metasploit, Burp Suite) and log analysis.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond to security incidents under pressure.
