Analytics and BI Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Analytics and BI Manager to lead our diverse data analytics team. This role requires a strong background in analytics, business intelligence, and people management. You will manage a team of highly skilled professionals, including Data and Product Analysts and BI Developers, developing data solutions, generating insights, publishing reports and driving data-driven decision-making across the organization and the Israeli tech ecosystem.

This is a strategic key role, combining hands on assignments and team management. The individual assuming this role will be responsible for enhancing data infrastructure, ensuring the successful execution of analytics projects, the development of actionable business insights, and the optimization of data strategies. Key Responsibilities

Analytics & Insights

• Hands on data extraction, data analysis, dashboards development, insights generation and visualization.
• Delivery of data analysis, ensuring actionable insights are derived to inform business and product decisions.
• Development of intuitive dashboards and reports that support business needs at all levels and champion the use of BI tools.
• Promote innovative approaches to data visualization and storytelling to enhance business impact.
• Present insights, trends, and recommendations to leadership and external partners.

Data Infrastructure & Governance

• Ensure the integrity, quality, and security of data across the organization.
• Collaborate internally as well as with external vendors to maintain and improve the data architecture and pipeline.
• Drive the integration of new data sources and lead data enrichment initiatives.

Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of analysts and BI developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Manage team workloads, priorities, and deliverables to ensure timely and high-quality outputs.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support professional growth.

Collaboration with Stakeholders

• Define the Analytics and BI strategy, aligning with organizational goals and ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Product, Business Development and Marketing, to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Act as the primary point of contact for data-related initiatives and projects across the organization.
• Collaborate with external partners to perform research and publish reports.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Economy, Data Science, Computer Science); Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or related fields, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in SQL and Excel.
• Proven experience in developing dashboards using data visualization tools. Preferably with Power BI.
• Familiarity with data engineering concepts and tools, data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions. Preferably with BigQuery.
• Knowledge of product analytics, A/B testing methodologies and Google Analytics.

Soft Skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication, presentation and writing skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Strong collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally.

Desirable

• Experience with AI, machine learning, or data science projects.
• Familiarity with venture capital, IPOs, M&As, and economic trends.
