• Develop and optimize molecular and genomic assays to accurately measure genomic events related to targeted genome editing.
• Develop and execute an experimental pipeline to generate high-throughput and high-quality data for computational modelling and safety validation.
• Perform DNA extraction, PCR, RT-qPCR, ddPCR, NGS library preparation, QC and sequencing instrument operation.
• Performed gene editing of human cell lines and primary cells.
• Interpret results and provide insights into the performance and potential improvements of gene editing technologies.
• Conduct day-to-day laboratory activities, ensuring adherence to best practices in experimental design, data collection, and data integrity.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all research activities and findings in laboratory notebooks.
• Collaborate with other scientists and departments, including computational biology and bioinformatics, to integrate analytical data into broader research efforts.
• Present findings to the scientific team and contribute to scientific publications and patent applications.
• Ensure all experimental activities comply with relevant regulatory standards and guidelines.

• Strong technical background in molecular biology, genetics, or a related field.
• Deep understanding of molecular biology and genomics techniques, particularly in the context of gene editing, CRISPR screens, and Next generation sequencing (NGS).
• Direct experience with NGS library prep with advantage to on/off-target analytics (Amp-seq, LM-PCR, WGS, etc.)
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex experimental issues.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• High level of attention to detail in experimental design, data collection, and data analysis.

• Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related field. Exceptional candidates with a M.Sc. degree and relevant experience will also be considered.
• 3-5 years of applicable industry experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, such as PCR, qPCR, NGS is a must
• Hands-on experience with gene editing approaches
• Proven experience in developing and implementing molecular analytical methods, with an advantage to assay automation expertise.
• Experience working with primary human cells (e.g., T cells, NK cells, CD34+ cells) is highly desirable.
• Experience with bioinformatics tools and software for genomic data analysis is an advantage.
