Senior UI/UX Designer (Maternity Leave Cover)

As a UI/UX Designer at Cemantica you will play a crucial role in shaping our product's user journey. Working closely with our Product Director and the R&D team, you will leverage your design expertise to create intuitive interfaces that align with our company's vision. From concept to execution, you'll be instrumental in delivering an end-to-end user experience that delights our customers and drives business success.

We’re now looking for a Senior UI / UX Designer (maternity leave replacement) to join our team in Ra’anana part-time (50%).

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Contribute to shaping the product vision and strategic roadmap for ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives
• Design intuitive and engaging digital experiences that result in measurable improvements, such as increased user satisfaction or higher conversion rates
• Work closely with our Product Management and R&D team to translate user needs into impactful design solutions, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment
• Leverage industry-standard UI/UX design tools and technologies to create high-quality user interfaces and interactive prototypes
• Stay abreast of the latest UI/UX trends, best practices, and technologies, and share your knowledge with the team to drive continuous improvement
• Proactively identify and troubleshoot UX problems, proposing innovative solutions to enhance the overall user experience

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.

• Min of 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role within a B2B / SaaS product company is a MUST
• Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices and design principles, including accessibility standards, responsive design and usability testing methodologies
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product and R&D, to translate business requirements into user-centric design solutions
• Solid understanding of typography, color theory, layout and visual hierarchy
• Experience in creating wireframes, clickable prototypes and working with design tools such as Axure, Figma, Adobe XD, etc. is a must
• Experience in leveraging user research methods is a must
• Knowledge of Information Architecture principles is an advantage
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS is an advantage
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile startup environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and requirements
• Ability to independently manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines, showcasing a self-starting and organized approach
• A passion for design, commitment to quality and desire to create exceptional UX
• Fluent in English

Important:

• All applications need to be submitted in English together with a Portfolio.
• The successful candidate must be able to work part-time (50%) in a hybrid setup (2 days at the office in Ra’anana).
• This is a fixed term appointment from 1^st May for about 7-8 months.
