Practical Engineer (Chemical )

At Addionics, we are changing the way batteries work with our smart 3D cell design. Our technology improves battery performance, making them charge faster, last longer, and stay safer. We are a fast-growing startup with teams in London and Tel Aviv, and we’re scaling up our manufacturing operations.

We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Practical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for data collection and analysis, supporting process improvements, and ensuring smooth production operations. You will work closely with the Process Engineer to develop working procedures and routines, take ownership of machines and processes, and provide guidance and training to operators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze data to optimize production processes
• Assist in writing and implementing work procedures and routines in collaboration with the Process Engineer
• Act as the owner of specific machines and processes, ensuring efficiency and reliability
• Train and support operators to improve technical skills and adherence to procedures
• Identify and troubleshoot issues in production processes
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, safety, and efficiency

Requirements:

• Practical Engineer in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing production environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on approach with the ability to work in a dynamic production setting
• Experience with process documentation and operator training is an advantage
