As an Architect Consultant, you will specialize in the design and development of cloud-ready Infrastructure and application architectures, including automated container platforms, deployment pipelines.

You'll lead the on-site implementation of the company's technologies like OpenShift, Smart Management and Ansible Automation Platform.

What You'll Be Doing

• Serve as a subject matter expert at the customer site, addressing technical, development, or strategic IT requirements
• Understand industry practices and policies, procedures, and values
• Demonstrate good judgment in selecting best methods to obtain solutions
• Implement and integrate the company's open and hybrid cloud solutions
• Team up with the customers to rapidly build application prototypes using modern application development practices and open source emerging technologies
• Manage and gain understanding of domains like micro services, API management, and web- scale architectures, DevOps engineering and application delivery, container-based continuous delivery (CD), cloud automation, and everything-as-code
• Collaborate with project and customer team members to meet timelines and goals
• Contribute to project documentation and diagrams, including ticket or bug management
• Implement solutions using cloud technologies, design principles, integration points, and automation methods

Requirements

• Experience and advanced knowledge of OpenShift or underlying components like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience developing with Containers, preferably with Openshift or other Kubernetes-based platforms
• Deep knowledge of Linux OS (RHEL is preferred)
• Experience implementing system infrastructure and cloud solutions, including data storage, networking, monitoring, and security
• Skills that will be considered a plus: RHCE certification, Working experience with DevOps and agile processes, Experience using public cloud technologies and providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure, Knowledge of Application platforms, such as Jboss EAP, Red Hat Integration, Red Hat Process Automation
