We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive development of the IceBrick management system (Cirrus™) and support commercialization. The Cirrus system is our centralized solution for effective automated cold energy management, a rapidly advancing data-centric, distributed cloud-edge environment focusing on IoT data collection, analysis, forecasting, optimized automated control, financial billing and aggregation of Nostromo’s growing cold energy assets, turning commercial building energy usage to virtual power plants via storage, which are central to providing clean, affordable and reliable energy to all. Cirrus also monitors IceBrick systems health and provides predictive maintenance to support ongoing service operation and assets longevity.

This is a high-impact role, in which the selected individual will work closely with engineering, software development, commercial and finance teams to shape the future management of distributed energy storage and the modern grid.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

• Define the product vision, value propositions, strategy, roadmap and life-cycle
• Conduct market research, pricing, competitive analysis and customer interviews to identify needs, industry trends and opportunities
• Develop and keep-current economic use-case for both existing and new applications, integrating technical requirements, market needs, cost, pricing, regulations and business objectives

Product Development

• Develop product requirements integrating customer needs, market opportunity and overall business strategy.
• Drive development from ideation to commercial release, and subsequent iterations
• Develop and manage product/system documentation
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize functionality and features
• Ensure seamless integration with ecosystems, such as building management systems (BMS), on-site energy resources and the power grid
• Partner in design and implementation of best practice product development methodologies and processes, central for on time and quality delivery of the right products as we grow into our commercialization phase.
• Work is lock-step with Nostromo’s commercialization, R&D, Engineering, and operation teams. 

Commercialization

• Engage with commercial teams, customers, and other market stakeholders to understand needs and opportunities and incorporate feedback into product development
• Collect, analyze and integrate product and market information and be the resource for product/user data, insights and expertise
• Support pricing, economic models and revenue strategies
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product performance and guide improvements

Qualifications

Background

• 5-10 years of experience in product management in B2B software systems - Must
• Degree in engineering, software or exact sciences - Must
• MBA or other business degree - an advantage
• Experience with energy-related and/or data-enabled IoT systems - an advantage
• Experience in product management of multi-disciplinary, software-hardware-mechanical products - an advantage
• Experience in product management of data & algo enabled cloud-edge software centric solutions - an advantage.
• Experience in SQL, data analysis fundamentals - an advantage. 
• Experience in both formalized and agile product development methodologies.
• Worked in both startup and mature companies - an advantage
• Experience in regulated software-centric product development processes (e.g. ISO) - an advantage
