Software Engineer

A startup company in the C2B Insurtech sector is developing a risk assessment and real-time assistance platform for travel insurance. The platform provides a digital wallet and an end-to-end service before purchase, during travel, and afterward.

The company has a flat structure, high-performance culture, and an open-door policy, offering significant influence over product development and greenfield projects.

The company is experiencing substantial growth, having raised over $18M from top-tier VCs, including the world's largest reinsurance company in a strategic Round B. The company has doubled in size over the past year and currently has 60 employees, with further expansion planned.

Headquartered in Tel Aviv near a train line, the company operates in a hybrid model with two remote workdays per week.

Role:

• Backend development from scratch as part of a squad, reporting to the Backend Team Lead.
• Development using Node.js and TypeScript in a global work environment, primarily in English.
• Tech Stack:
• Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, PostgreSQL, CI/CD, AWS

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in Backend development – Must
• Experience with Node.js development – Must
• Bachelor’s degree – Must
• Very high level of English – Must (The CTO is English-speaking only)
• Cloud experience – Advantage
• Experience in B2C or Fintech companies – Advantage
