Process Technician

Description

Innoviz is looking for an automation Process Technician (PT) to support our assembly automated processes development, maintenance, and industrialization, focusing on Optics, Electronics, and Mechanical assemblies.

When the key machinery is dispensing, P&P, screwing or laser welding machines.

The PT will support technology and operational transfer of manufacturing processes from R&D to manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assembly machines integration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Create automated machine process parameters
• Execution of relevant production DOE’s
• Assembly accessories integration (jigs and fixtures), maintenance and troubleshooting
• Prototypes manual build
• Work instruction and visual aids
• Failure analysis support
• Warehouse and Clean room bring up support
• Training for the production crew (both in Israel and abroad)
  
  

• Education: Technology high school, Higher education degree in technical electro-optics or opto-mechanics – Advantage
• Background with programming production machines
• 3-5 years of professional experience as a process/manufacturing technician in an optics-related product
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, hands-on experience in the Opto Mechanic industry – an advantage
• Experience with conduction experiments including optics/electronics/mechanics
• Clean room work experience
• Good technical abilities and technical curiosity with an Innovative spirit
• Good analytical skills, self-starter with drive, focus, and initiative.
• Can do attitude
• Language skills: Good English, both written and verbal
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willing to travel abroad to support the VM production site
• A real team player able to efficiently work with multi-disciplines across the organization (Production, SC, R&D, QA etc)
