Cosmetic Chemist

Particle is a cutting-edge men’s grooming and skincare brand dedicated to creating high-performance products tailored for men’s needs. We are looking for an innovative Cosmetic Chemist to join our team and play a key role in formulating and developing our next-generation skincare and grooming products.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and develop new skincare, grooming, and personal care products from concept to production.
• Research and evaluate active and functional ingredients to enhance product performance.
• Conduct stability, compatibility, and efficacy testing to ensure product safety and quality.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, new raw materials, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and production teams to bring innovative formulations to market.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, EU, and other global cosmetic regulations.
• Optimize existing formulations for performance, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in skincare cosmetic formulation
• Strong knowledge of emulsions, surfactants, active ingredients, and preservatives.
• Understanding of GMP, FDA, and global regulatory requirements for cosmetics.
• Experience with stability, microbiological, and efficacy testing.
• Ability to troubleshoot formulation challenges and innovate based on consumer needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of anti-aging, moisturizing, and other skincare ingredients.
• Familiarity with large-scale manufacturing processes.
