Site Reliability Engineer

Job Description:

NetNut is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Cloud Infrastructure team.

In this role, you will manage, optimize, and scale our global SaaS platform for network services.

The focus will be on ensuring reliability, performance, and efficiency across our deployments, with a strong emphasis on advanced networking, including BGP routing, ISP-level infrastructure, and router management.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to automate processes, enhance infrastructure, and optimize traffic routing through our global proxy network.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, or a related role.

Expertise in Linux administration, focusing on kernel-level networking and system performance tuning.

Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, and Go.

Deep understanding of networking protocols (especially BGP), IP routing, and ISP infrastructure.

Familiarity with managing and configuring routers and networking hardware (e.g., Cisco, Juniper).

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.

Proficiency with cloud platforms: AWS, OVH, or Digital Ocean.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

Familiarity with GitOps practices and deployment tools like ArgoCD.

Expertise in monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Groundcover).

Strong troubleshooting skills for both system and network-level issues.
