Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable, accounts

receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

• Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial statements and reports to senior

leadership and stakeholders.

• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights to support strategic

decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations, including VAT and sales

tax requirements.

• Manage sales tax filings and compliance using Avalara or similar tax automation

software.

• Stay updated on VAT and sales tax changes in relevant jurisdictions to ensure the

company remains compliant.

• Manage external audits and act as the main point of contact for auditors and regulatory

authorities.

• Evaluate and optimize accounting systems, tools, and software to support scalability.
• Lead or support the implementation and optimization of NetSuite ERP to streamline

financial processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a Big

four firm.

• Hands-on experience managing VAT, sales tax compliance, and tax automation software

(e.g., Avalara).

• Experience in a startup or fast-growing company is a plus.
• Deep understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Experience in implementing and optimizing NetSuite ERP is highly preferred.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• A proactive and adaptable mindset to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
