Planner

A leading company in the telecommunications field located in central Israel is looking for an excellent Planner.

Job Description:

• Responsible for creating and managing work plans for the production department and material management, including:
• Issuing purchase requisitions / running MRP, determining priorities, and expediting shortage handling with procurement
• Opening work orders, building, and monitoring kitting plans, warehouse work, and packaging department
• Managing raw material and finished goods inventory within the company and at subcontractors
• Responsibility for inventory count control
• Building production plans based on the sales plan and monitoring production progress with daily performance reporting
• Providing responses regarding product availability and delivery dates to the sales department, ensuring continuous improvement in KPIs
• Handling deviations/changes in plans and the production process
• Data analysis and report preparation
• Responsibility for setting inventory levels and optimal management of inventory based on consumption trends and a solid understanding of the supply chain, along with recommendations for optimal inventory management
• Continuous interaction with various company departments – Sales, Finance, Development, and Management

*Full-time position* in Holon, 5 days a week, 08:00-17:00 (Flexible hours available)

Requirements:

• Academic degree in Industrial Engineering and Management
• Proven experience of 5+ years in production planning and material management / MRP in a manufacturing company with a broad product range
• Demonstrated understanding of mechanical/electromechanical assemblies and electronics product manufacturing
• Experience working with subcontractors
• High-level English
• Russian – Advantage
• Experience in procurement – Advantage
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and high service orientation
• Proven expertise in ERP Priority Industrial systems
• Experience working in a computerized environment, with a strong emphasis on high-level Excel proficiency
• Organizational skills, accuracy, and ability to work in a team
