Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly experienced Product Manager with a proven track record in developing and managing AI-based medical software — specifically in ultrasound imaging or similar healthcare applications. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will drive the product lifecycle from concept to commercialization, ensuring regulatory compliance and clinical excellence.

• Important: This role requires direct experience with AI-based medical software and a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (FDA, CE, HIPAA, MDR). Candidates without a proven background in similar products will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and Execute Product Strategy: Develop and lead the product roadmap for SimHawk’s Ultrasound AI Software, ensuring alignment with business and clinical goals.
• Hands-On Development: Collaborate closely with R&D, AI engineers, and clinicians to develop and optimize AI solutions for ultrasound imaging.
• Regulatory Compliance: Oversee product compliance with medical device regulations (FDA, CE) and manage submission and approval processes.
• Market and Customer Insight: Gather and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive data to shape product development and positioning.
• Clinical Validation: Ensure AI model accuracy and clinical effectiveness through rigorous validation and testing with healthcare partners.
• Data and AI Model Management: Manage the annotation team to maintain high-quality data labeling for AI training and continuous model improvement.
• Customer and Partner Engagement: Work with hospitals, clinicians, and design partners to validate product usability and improve user experience.
• Performance Monitoring: Track post-launch performance and lead continuous improvement efforts based on clinical and user feedback.
• Stakeholder Management: Bridge the gap between technical, business, and clinical teams to ensure cohesive product delivery.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Proven Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Product Manager in AI-based medical software — experience with ultrasound imaging or similar healthcare solutions is essential.
• Regulatory Expertise: Strong understanding of medical regulations (FDA, CE, HIPAA, MDR) and experience in managing regulatory submissions.
• Hands-On AI Experience: Direct involvement in defining, developing, and managing AI-based medical software products.
• Clinical and Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of AI, machine learning, and software development, with a focus on clinical applications.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to manage and align cross-functional teams (engineering, clinical, and business).
• Location: Ability to work on-site in Petah-Tikva.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in medical imaging or ultrasound technology.
• Experience with AI-based diagnostics and clinical validation.
• Familiarity with cloud-based AI solutions and digital health platforms.
• Knowledge of medical reimbursement models and business strategy for AI in healthcare.
