Monitoring Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced Monitoring Team Lead to join the team and manage the monitoring solutions for our infrastructure and applications. This is a leadership role responsible for ensuring the performance, reliability, and efficiency of our systems.

About the Role

• Lead and manage a team of 7 professionals to ensure smooth daily operations and issue resolution.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of monitoring solutions, including SCOM, NETCOOL, Grafana, and CACTI.
• Collaborate with different teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and workflow for incident management.
• Develop and implement automation scripts for monitoring and system management using PowerShell, Python, and PERL.
• Ensure high availability and performance of critical systems across both Linux and Windows environments.
• Focus on improving user experience by implementing effective monitoring strategies that optimize performance and minimize downtime.
• Guide the team in maintaining high standards and best practices in monitoring and control processes.

Required Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in monitoring, infrastructure, and application control and management.
• Proven experience leading teams in a NOC (Network Operations Center) or similar monitoring environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with monitoring systems such as SCOM, NETCOOL, Grafana, and CACTI.
• Expertise in scripting with PowerShell, Python, and PERL for automation and monitoring tasks.
• Solid understanding of monitoring technologies and information systems, including Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work efficiently with diverse teams and stakeholders.
