Relocation to Taiwan

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced Production line manager to manage, monitor, and optimize our production line in Taiwan. This role is critical in ensuring on-time, high-quality production while resolving production issues in a timely manner in collaboration with other stakeholders as well as working on capacity expansion and production line utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor ongoing production while resolving production/process issues and providing transparency and reporting to the stakeholders.
• Generate detailed reports on production status and progress.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and product quality.
• Manage engineering changes = implementation in the production line and with sub-suppliers.
• Manage RMA and parts approval processes.
• Monitor and evaluate manufacturing processes at various supplier facilities, conduct regular audits and process evaluations to ensure adherence to company specifications and industry best practices.
• Lead future capacity expansion plans including headcount increase, improved production & test cycle times.
• Initiate and set up processes to support production ramp-up.
• Work in collaboration with the quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to achieve the company's goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Process Eng.
• 10 years + experience in production management (preferably in Asia), manufacturing, and/or supplier quality management.
• Experience with HW, Electronics, plastic injection, molding, and tooling.
• Experience with configuration management processes and systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English – both written and spoken and Chinese (Mandarin) - Advantage
• Willingness to travel frequently to different manufacturing facilities.
