Finance Controller to Director

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Controller looking to step into a Director of Finance role. The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years of experience as a Finance Controller, strong managerial capabilities, a deep understanding of financial reporting, and expertise in optimizing financial performance in a global business environment. This role offers the opportunity to lead financial strategy, planning, and operations at a higher level.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the company’s financial health, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and profitability.
• Lead and mentor a finance team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting and compliance.
• Manage global financial operations, including tax, treasury, and accounting processes across multiple regions.
• Ensure compliance with international financial regulations and corporate policies.
• Provide financial insights and reports to senior leadership, supporting strategic decision-making.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business objectives.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience as a Finance controller, preferably in a global company.
• Proven experience in Priority - Mandatory
• Proven managerial experience in leading and developing finance teams - Advantage
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting.
• Experience in the Technology, or service industries is a plus.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities.
• CPA - must.
• Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
