Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Join the R&D management team and plan and execute a future technology roadmap.
• HW & SW innovation & development efforts – Own the development of features from design to development, Unit testing, and production deployment.
• Responsible for products’ software development life cycle including tools, procedures, and documentation.
• Responsible for SW & HW project work plans, monitoring, and progress tracking.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Mentoring the team and reviewing the work of the engineers to meet the project goals and timeline.

Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• 3+ years as an embedded team leader owning and planning delivery of full products or major subsystems.
• 7+ years of experience with embedded development (C & CPP) at least partially in a multi-threaded, multi-layer, object-oriented environment.
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum thinking and methodologies.
• Architecting embedded systems.
• HW: Schematics, layout, HW to SW interfaces, scopes, logic analyzer, loggers, debuggers, SW registers, and assembly code.
• Building presentations and presenting to managers.
• Personal characteristics: Team player, highly motivated, delivers on time, willing to work in dynamic environment and a quick learner.
