Development Team Lead

One of our clients is a leading technology-driven company specializing in digital marketing for some of the world's most successful direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands. They leverage cutting-edge marketing techniques, data-driven creative strategies, and a proprietary technology platform that optimizes digital campaigns. For the past five years, Statista and Globes have recognized this company as one of the fastest-growing companies. This company has achieved remarkable growth organically and profitably.

They seek a Senior R&D Team Leader to lead a development team of five team members (developers and QA engineers) while driving innovation and solving complex technical challenges. The role includes hands-on involvement, primarily in code review and mentoring.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the full lifecycle of key platform domains, from design and development to deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
• Manage and mentor a team of five developers and QA engineers.
• Define and implement technical vision, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
• Oversee architecture and development of data-intensive and web applications with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Manage integrations with external platforms and APIs (e.g., Google, Facebook, TikTok).
• Conduct hands-on code reviews and provide technical mentorship.
• Foster collaboration between departments to ensure seamless communication.
• Contribute to sprint planning and execution, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term objectives.
• Maintain partial hands-on involvement with technologies such as Python, Node.js, and React.

Requirements:

• Technological education from a recognized academic institution or completion of a military technology course (e.g., Mamram or equivalent).
• 5+ years of experience in development roles within fast-paced, dynamic environments (e.g., startups).
• Advanced proficiency in Python - Must
• At least 3 years of experience managing and leading technical teams.
• Expertise in designing and managing data-centric systems.
• Strong experience in building scalable microservices architecture with complex business workflows.
• Solid experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with React is a plus.
• Skilled in code reviews and technical mentorship.
