Sustainability & Compliance Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a Sustainability & Compliance Manager to ensure our events align with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals and regulations. This role will develop and implement sustainable event strategies, ensuring compliance with industry standards while driving positive environmental and social impact. The ideal candidate is well-versed in sustainability frameworks, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sustainability strategies to reduce the environmental impact of events
• Ensure compliance with ESG regulations, industry standards, and sustainability certifications
• Collaborate with vendors, venues, and stakeholders to integrate sustainable practices
• Monitor and report on ESG performance, setting benchmarks for improvement
• Educate internal teams and event partners on best practices for sustainability
• Stay updated on evolving sustainability trends, policies, and compliance requirements

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in sustainability, compliance, or ESG-focused role
• Strong knowledge of ESG regulations, reporting frameworks, and sustainable event management
• Experience working with industry certifications (e.g., ISO 20121, LEED, GRI)
• Proven ability to implement and monitor sustainability initiatives in event operations
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Having experience in Blockchain industry is a plus
