Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

The role includes all activities related to the design, implementation, and distribution of automated tests:

• Developing automated tests in Python
• Writing a detailed design for implementing new tests
• Reading engineering specification documents
• Interfacing with software teams, algorithm teams, operations research teams, system engineers, and integration personnel
• Reading logs and isolating faults
• Working with Docker, Kubernetes

Requirements

• Graduate of software testing and automation course
• At least 3 years of experience in manual QA and writing of software test plans (STPs), software test designs (STDs), and software test reports (STRs)
• 3+ years of experience writing automations in Selenium and Python
• Familiarity and experience in implementing Selenium design patterns
• Experience in REST AP testing with tools such as Postman
• Experience working with virtual machines (VMs), Docker
• Familiarity with map-based web products (Cesium, Angular) – an advantage
