Network Administrator for a Global Company 5187

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Network Administrator to join our IT team at a global company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, managing, and maintaining our organization’s network infrastructure. This role will involve installing and configuring network hardware, supporting network migrations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, access points).
2. Monitor network performance, ensuring uptime and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
3. Implement and maintain network security measures, including access controls.
4. Manage and support local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless networks.
5. Perform regular updates, patches, and firmware upgrades on network devices.
6. Respond promptly to network outages and incidents, providing timely resolutions.
7. Assist in network planning, scalability, and disaster recovery strategies.
8. Document network configurations, policies, and procedures.
9. Provide technical support to staff on network-related issues.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.).
4. Hands-on experience with network hardware from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, etc.
5. Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are preferred.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
8. A very high level of spoken and written English is required.
