Director of Finance – Public Company in Tel Aviv

A leading public company in Tel Aviv is seeking an experienced Director of Finance for a senior-level position with full responsibility for financial reporting, financial management, and strategic financial processes. This role requires significant experience in a similar position within a public company, overseeing financial statements and accounting operations.

• Manage all financial reporting processes in compliance with US GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, including in-depth financial reviews and analyses.
• Oversee budgets, financial forecasts, and management reports to support business decision-making.
• Lead SOX implementation and internal controls to ensure strong corporate governance.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with external auditors, investors, and regulatory bodies.
• Develop and optimize financial close processes, including automation and the implementation of advanced financial tools.
• Manage and mentor finance and accounting teams, ensuring professional development and strong leadership.
• Work closely with executive management on financial strategies and business growth.
  

• CPA with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a similar role within a public company.
• Expertise in US GAAP and experience working with stock exchange regulations and compliance.
• Proven ability to lead finance teams and manage complex financial processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
• Experience with ERP financial systems – an advantage.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) with strong communication skills.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with attention to detail and execution capabilities.
• Experience in high-tech, cybersecurity, or startups – a significant advantage.
