System Engineer

flō is looking for a System Engineer to join our team.

flo optics is a tech startup, developing new digital printing technology for coating of optical lenses. We`re looking for a highly motivated system engineer with background in printing. This role will report to flō Program manager

What you will do:

• System architecture and design of multidisciplinary complex system, including inkjet, coating, motion, inspection and more
• Lead multidisciplinary product development from definition and investigation and till release
• Plan and execute Integration and evaluation phases
• Investigate and troubleshoot technological building blocks and system performance

What you have:

• Education: B.Sc. in Engineering or Physics
• At least 3 years experience as system engineer of multidisciplinary system; combining print, electro-optics, electro-mechanics or motion control
• Experience in design, improvement and operation of ink jet systems
• Proven experience in multidisciplinary design: architecture, analysis, trade-offs etc.
• Can-do attitude and practical approach for solving problems, based on strong engineering skills and deep understanding
• High motivation, energy and strong interpersonal skills
• Hands-on experience in R&D and passion for investigation and prototyping
