QA and Bug Investigation Intern (Part-Time)

Job Description:

As a QA and Bug Investigation Intern in the R&D team at Bizi, you will help maintain and improve the quality of our SaaS platform. Your primary focus will be on testing and debugging within the R&D process, ensuring our systems are reliable and efficient. You’ll collaborate with engineers to identify, investigate, and resolve issues, with opportunities to gain deeper insights into the development lifecycle and transition into a developer role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure the reliability of Bizi’s SaaS system.

• Investigate and reproduce bugs, working closely with R&D engineers to resolve issues.

• Assist in debugging and root cause analysis, using tools and frameworks to troubleshoot effectively.

• Collaborate with the R&D team to enhance test automation and improve testing methodologies.

• Document bugs and test cases, ensuring clear communication between engineering and QA teams.

• Contribute ideas for R&D improvements, helping to refine processes and boost team productivity.

• Show a willingness to learn new technologies and gain exposure to advanced development practices with the goal of becoming a developer.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Currently studying for a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Interest in software testing, QA, and debugging with a keen eye for detail.

• A curious mindset and the ability to approach problems from multiple angles.

• Self-motivated, with strong initiative to learn new skills and technologies.

• Good coordination and communication skills to work effectively with the R&D team.

• Familiarity or experience with Python and React is a plus.

• Strong desire to grow into a developer role in the future.

Job Scope: Part-time position, at least 20 hours per week with flexible working hours according to the academic schedule.
