Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong experience in Node.js, MongoDB, and AWS. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining our backend services, ensuring reliability and performance. Python experience is a plus, and knowledge of React and React Native would be very useful. We need someone who can solve problems independently and work well in a startup environment. Good access to modern AI technologies is a must.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js.
• Work with MongoDB to manage and optimize data.
• Use AWS for infrastructure, including ECS, EC2, and S3.
• Build APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Ensure security, performance, and stability of backend services.
• Troubleshoot and optimize backend performance.
• Participate in technical discussions and code reviews.
• Improve development processes with automation and DevOps.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Node.js.
• Up to date with AI coding tools like Copilot, Claude Code, etc.
• Strong knowledge of MongoDB and database design.
• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, authentication, and security.
• Familiarity with scalable and modular backend architecture.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Python.
• Familiarity with React and React Native.
• Knowledge around b2c aspects such as A/B Testing.
• Experience with CI/CD.
