Chemistry Researcher for R&D

SNOW Polymers, a start-up company making biodegradable polymers, is looking for a Chemistry Researcher for our R&D department to join our team and develop the next generation of biodegradable materials for various applications.

Job description:

·        Hands-on lab work. Organic Chemistry

·        Independent planning and conducting experiments

·        Polymers lab-scale synthesis and analysis.

·        Polymer Analysis including DSC, FTIR, NMR, GPC, Rheology, and MFI.

·        Scale up production toward application release using extrusion and injection molding.

·        Develop materials in a multidisciplinary environment including applicative testing.

·        Scaling-up: extrusion and injection molding.

·        Diverse work in a team of chemists and engineers in the development department.

Requirements:

·        M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry or Chemical Engineering / Materials Engineering / Plastic Engineering.

·        Required previous experience in polymer synthesis and characterization.

·        Good background and experience in polymer synthesis / organic chemistry.

·        Independent project leader.

·        Excellent personal relations
