As our Business Development Director, you will spearhead our expansion into new markets and forge strategic partnerships with leading global pharmaceutical companies. Your role is crucial in shaping our growth strategy, enhancing our market presence, and securing our position as a leader in the biotechnology industry.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for new business prospects, determining strategic follow-ups and advancing partnership opportunities.
- Identify and penetrate new markets, developing tailored strategies with local teams to secure successful deals.
- Forge and cultivate relationships with major pharmaceutical entities to negotiate and secure licensing deals.
- Collaborate in deal closure, crafting negotiation materials and representing Amorphical’s interests with strategic acumen.
- Conduct market research to anticipate trends and opportunities, leading to actionable insights and lead generation.
- Participate in product training and conferences to deepen understanding of our products and technological capabilities.
- Assist in the creation and refinement of marketing materials to elevate Amorphical's brand among potential partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- high level English (written and spoken)
- 5+ years of experience
- Flawless communication skills, both written and oral, with extensive public speaking experience
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as being a productive team member, making outbound approaches every day
- Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new connections with prospects
- Experience in the world of pharma/supplements and in connections with global companies
- Have experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other similar prospecting applications while keeping track of dead-end leads
- Must be an excellent problem-solver and willing to collaborate in an exceedingly competitive environment
- Thorough understanding of commercial awareness and brand recognition to successfully establish rapport with prospects
- Great multitasker and time management skills
- Know office (excel & power point) at a high level and create presentations
