Data Engineer

A startup company that has developed a platform based on homomorphic encryption, allowing organizations to share encrypted data securely. Their technology enables companies to derive insights and perform analyses on sensitive information without decrypting it. For example, hospitals can share research data while keeping patient details encrypted.

The company is based in Tel Aviv, near the light rail station, with 45 employees. They work two days a week from home and are funded with over $50M.

Role overview-

• 50% Backend Development (Python) and 50% Data Engineering (DE).
• Build Data Pipelines and aggregate data across multiple points to improve performance and optimize data processing.
• Work with encryption technologies and ensure secure data handling.
• Report directly to the R&D Manager and collaborate closely with the Platform and Data Science teams.
• Tech Stack: Python, Dask, Linux, RabbitMQ, SQL, AWS, GCP, Azure.

Requirements-

• 5+ years of Backend development experience – mandatory
• Python 3+ – mandatory
• Cloud experience – mandatory
• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university/college – mandatory
• Experience in a startup environment – mandatory
• Experience with data – advantage
