OVERVIEW:
Bruker’s Semiconductor Division is the leader in automated atomic force microscopy (AAFM) and advanced X-ray metrology and defect inspection tools for the silicon and compound semiconductor industries. The division offers the most comprehensive portfolio tools, based on X-ray technologies including XRR (X-ray reflectometry), XRF (X-ray fluorescence), XRD (X-ray diffraction), XRDI (X-ray diffraction imaging) and others. The X-ray business unit is based in Migdal Ha’Emek, Israel with facilities in Durham UK, San Jose USA, Karlsruhe, Germany and support offices and sales representatives worldwide.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you will be working with experienced software developers to develop and maintain software for X-ray metrology applications and tools, used by our customers worldwide in the semiconductor industry.
International Travel might be required.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Shadow experienced software developers for effective learning
- Develop, test and deploy fully working software modules
- Support and improve existing software in the field
- Collaborate with your team members to deliver on time and in high quality
- Communicate clearly and concisely (in English)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- In the process of obtaining B.A. or B.Sc degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 3 full semesters to completion
- Available for 3 weekly working days
- Average grade at least 85 (Data structures and OOP with grade higher than 80)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, good presentation skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, independent learner
