Software Engineer

A private defense tech company developing advanced loitering munitions. The company's products feature cutting-edge technology in loitering weapon systems, with an innovative aerodynamic design that enhances precision.

Most clients are based abroad, primarily in the U.S., with some local collaborations.

The role involves developing the C4I system for the UAV control unit using C#. The position includes joining a dedicated team and reporting to the team lead responsible for the command-and-control system.

The company is located in the Sharon area and offers a hybrid work model with one to two remote days per week.

Role Description:

• Implementations of Command-and-Control development and Auxiliary Applications
• Carrying out integration of software (System wide)
• Implementing additional tools and functionality of existing systems
• Instructing external teams, planning tools as well as supporting the testing team (SQA)
• Documenting development and code creation according to required standards
• Working with teams that include system engineers, Software developers, mechanical engineers and integration personnel
• Participate in Trials, Performance testing as well as software reviews
• Versions creations, Development Pipeline control, ICD creation and updates and software architecture and design activities

Requirements-

• BSc in Computer Science/Programming or equivalent
• 8 years of experience in software development in C#/Java
• 3 years of experience in developing WPF/Avalonia applications using MVVM
• Experience in Multithreading
• Experience with video player and streaming (H.264/265)
• Experience in Publish/Subscribe
• Experience in developing interfaces with network protocols such a UDP / RS232 / TCP-IP
• In-depth knowledge of SW Architecture and Design Patterns.
• In-depth knowledge of programming principles and best practices
• Ability to Understand system wide design
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to create development documentation, unit tests
• High Level Hebrew and English
• Working with System engineers directly
• Ability and willingness to travel
