Embedded Software Engineer

A semiconductor high-tech company develops and manufactures chips in the fields of IoT, cellular communication, AI, Deep Learning, camera sensors, and Security.

The company's chips are embedded in a wide variety of products, including cameras, wearable devices, retail, automotive, Garmin smartwatches, personal and business tracking devices, smartphones, home appliances, sensors, electronics, and other IoT products.

Headquartered in central Israel, the company employs 350 people in Israel, with a hybrid work model (2-3 days from home).

Role-

• Part of a team, reporting to the R&D manager.
• Embedded development in high-level application layer C on operating systems like ThreadX, FreeRTOS, and Embedded Linux.

Requirements -

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, SW engineering or computer science.
• 5 years of experience in C programming for embedded systems.
• Proven experience in developing software for multi-threaded operating systems (e.g. FreeRTOS, ThreadX, Embedded Linux).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in embedded environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a good team player.
• Quick learner, motivated, self-driven and independent.
