Mobile Engineer

A private company in the OTT domain has developed a cloud-based product (similar to Cellcom TV) that provides access to streaming services and delivers a personalized viewing experience for users. With over 50 employees in Israel, the company is experiencing significant growth and is highly technology driven.

The role is part of a global team of nine developers and testers, reporting to a team lead based in Israel. It requires a high level of English proficiency, as the team operates internationally. Development is done in Kotlin.

Located in the Sharon area, the company follows a hybrid work model with two remote workdays per week. It has around 2,500 employees globally, including 50 in Israel.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 4 years of experience in Android Kotlin/Java development.
• Experience with RxJava/RxKotlin development.
• Understanding of design patterns and architectures.
• Extensive knowledge in UI/UX development.
• Verse in 3rd party libraries and solutions.
• Understanding of server-client fundamentals.
• Understanding of multithreading.
• Experience in dependency injection (DI) methodology.
• Experience in writing unit tests.
• Conduct design and code reviews.
• Strong analytical skills.
