We are looking for an Assistant controller for an exciting and challenging position!

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Petah-Tikva.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of IFRS financial statements and Tax reports
• Participate in the monthly closing processes and ensure all results are correctly calculated and accurately recorded
• Performing complex Journal entries for recording where needed
• Manage all aspects of the general ledger
• Responsible for reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, including intercompany and bank reconciliations, recorded on a timely basis
• Working closely with the FP&A team to ensure Revenue Recognition is properly done
• Instrumental in assisting with Israeli Taxes and VAT issues
• Ensuring strict accounts payable controls and accounts receivable/collection procedures
• Preparing 13-week cash flow statements and forecasts on a weekly basis
• Work closely with the controller’s team (and the bookkeepers as well) on various special projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned
• Work closely with the Company’s external auditors
• Implementation of internal controls, financial policies, and procedures
• Ongoing communication with other departments to understand and record appropriate financial results
  
  

• Qualified Israeli CPA - must
• High level of English - must
• CPA with 2 years of professional experience post internship - an advantage
• Experience with Net-Suite ERP system - an advantage
• Internship in one of the Big 4 - an advantage
• Worked in the finance team of a company in the professional services sector
• Experience working in a shared services environment
• Knowledge of Israeli Taxes and VAT
• Able to demonstrate the ability to work on and prioritize multiple projects while meeting goals and deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically in Excel
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills, team player as well as independent work capabilities
