Animator

Klydoclock is an analog digital clock that transforms timekeeping into an ever-evolving artistic experience. Our clock displays an extensive library of seamless, one-minute looping animations, allowing users to explore a world of dynamic visuals. From mesmerizing abstract patterns to character-driven motion, our animations redefine how time is perceived—turning every minute into a work of art.

We are looking for an exceptionally creative Animator to craft visually stunning, perfectly looping animations that span a wide range of styles, themes, and subject matter. This is not a one-style-fits-all role—you’ll need to be highly versatile, forward-thinking, and capable of producing fresh, fun and unexpected animations that captivate users.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for composition and color theory, is both technically skilled and artistically fearless, and is excited to experiment with different animation styles, storytelling techniques, and motion design trends. As part of a fast-paced startup, you should be adaptable, proactive, and comfortable with quick turnarounds and evolving creative needs.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and animate seamless loops that push creative boundaries.

• Develop a diverse range of animations, covering different styles, themes, and visual aesthetics—from surreal dreamscapes to bold graphic loops.

• Ensure animations are smooth, visually engaging, and optimized for Klydoclock.

• Continuously experiment with new motion techniques, visual storytelling methods, and artistic styles.

• Maintain a strong visual identity and adhere to Klydoclock’s specs while embracing variety and innovation.

• Thrive in a dynamic, startup environment, responding quickly to new ideas, trends, and creative challenges.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in animation, motion graphics, or video editing.

• Mastery of animation software (After Effects).

• Mastery of video editing software (Premiere Pro).

• Ability to adapt to different animation styles and aesthetics.

• Deep understanding of animation principles, fluid motion, and seamless looping techniques.

• Strong artistic instincts with a sharp eye for color, composition, and timing.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup setting.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to quickly iterate based on feedback.

Preferred:

• Mastery of 3D animation software (Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar)

• Mastery of 2D animation software (Animate, Toonboom, Procreate, or similar)

• Use of Ai video generation software as a tool
