Job Description:

• Learning and defining machine learning (ML) model problems: Understanding the needs and business activities of different organizational units, and identifying opportunities for applying ML-based solutions.
• Establishing complex data structures: Designing and implementing advanced data infrastructures for model development and usage by business units within the company.
• Advanced data analysis: Using advanced data tools to perform in-depth analyses and build analytics to solve business problems.
• Development, validation, and implementation of statistical models: Developing statistical models, validating them, and explaining them in business language. Implementing the models in the production environment and performing post-implementation validation.
• Data visualization: Using BI tools such as Tableau and/or PowerBI to present data and insights.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or another relevant field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Professional experience: At least 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist, with the ability to lead end-to-end projects, including development, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of models in the production environment.
• SQL proficiency: Experience and proven knowledge in complex SQL queries with large databases.
• Python proficiency: Advanced experience with Python, including work with libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, scikit-learn, Seaborn, and Matplotlib.
• Familiarity with statistical models: In-depth understanding of models such as Boosting, Random Forest, GLM, Xgboost regression, Clustering, PCA, SVM.
• Experience in Deep Learning: Including work with libraries such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, and understanding of neural networks, CNN, RNN, and LSTM.
• Experience with cloud services (GC/Azure/AWS): Significant advantage.
• Experience working in financial organizations: Advantageous.
