Big Data Developer

A startup company has developed a SaaS platform used by global financial institutions to manage investment portfolios worth trillions of dollars, bringing the industry into the modern era. The platform supports a wide range of financial products, including mutual funds, ETFs, hedge funds, insurance products, and pension funds, while automating processes, improving workflows, and enhancing collaboration across portfolio management and administration units.

The company is based in Tel Aviv, near a train station, with 130 employees and a hybrid work model (one day from home).

Founded in 2018, it has successfully completed multiple funding rounds, raising over $150M (Series C) even during wartime.

The role is part of the Infra team, working with Kafka, Spark, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Redis, Hadoop, MongoDB, Java, and more.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of relevant work experience with big-data technologies, such as Kafka, Spark, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Redis, Hadoop, MongoDB.
• Experience in OOP (Java / Python / C#).
• Experience with large, distributed information systems, building, and scaling data pipelines
• Strong passion for details and tackling complex tasks.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills.
• Computer science degree from a leading university and/or technological intelligence units graduate
