Central activities, responsibilities, goals and tasks within the framework of the Position
Lead NPI activities for production aspects (process definition, stencil, automations programming, penalization, design review, temp profile, etc.)
Production improvements - initiate process changes for efficiency & quality improvement of various products
Technological Innovations - Suggestions for integrating mechanization/ technological innovations that will improve product quality/operational efficiency
New automation - Defining organization's needs, lead market research for applicable options, write SOW requirements, option selection, Process validation& implementation including procedures, work instructions & operator training
PLM life cycle management - implementation and approvals of engineering change orders by providing Guidelines, instructions, process effects/ technological influences
Investigation of process failures
Job requirements (education, professional experience, languages, professional training)
- Practical Engineer / Electronics Engineer
- Experience – - at least 4 years in production floor – at subcontracting or electronic assemblies (PCBAs & Sub-assemblies)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including SMT, selective wave soldering, wave soldering and temperature profile construction.
- Software knowledge - AutoCAD, FAB3000, SolidWorks, Kic/ Mole, PLM, Priority.
- Knowledge with IPC standards, cabling standards, PCBs manufacturing and design, materials data sheets, components limitations etc.
- Experience with X-RAY (operation and decoding)
- Experience with different technologies in the electronics industry (SPI, BGA Rebelling and Replacement, wire Bonding, Rework stations, press fit…etc.)
