COBOL Developer

A COBOL Developer is required for a Billing and Collection Systems team.

The role includes developing and maintaining programs, services/interfaces, financial processes, and more.

The work environment is AS400, with extensive integration with various technologies such as SAP, ESB, WEB, and others.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with the team leader, team members, and cross-functional teams.
• Working closely with system analysts, cross-functional teams, users/clients, and managers.
• Following structured and agile methodologies, ensuring full compliance with department work procedures.

Hybrid work model – two fixed days from home and three days from the office.

Job Requirements:

• Academic education – Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent (e.g., graduate of a military technology unit such as Mamram, 8200, Teleprocessing, or equivalent), or advanced courses in Information Systems – mandatory.
• 3-5 years of experience in COBOL development – mandatory.
• Experience in AS400 development – advantage.
• Experience with financial/billing systems – advantage.
