Analytical Chemist for the R&D Team – Medical Device Department

Job Description:

• Responsible for developing and optimizing analytical and physical testing methods to evaluate the performance and quality of medical devices.
• Collaborate closely with product development teams, quality control, and testing laboratories.
• Conduct raw material testing.
• Write and update analytical and physical testing methods.
• Develop and execute validation protocols for analytical and physical tests.
• Identify analytical needs, design and implement new methods, and improve existing processes.

Requirements, Education, and Skills:

• B.Sc. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or other exact sciences (M.Sc./Ph.D. is an advantage).
• 3-5 years of experience in analytical development, preferably in the medical device industry.
• Experience in developing and optimizing analytical methods.
• In-depth knowledge of analytical chemistry, laboratory sciences, and data processing.
• Experience in rheological testing.
• Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in experimental design, data analysis, and result interpretation.
• Familiarity and solid understanding of testing standards and regulatory requirements for medical devices (FDA).
• Previous experience with hyaluronic acid and calcium injections – an advantage.

Location: Hevel Modi’in Industrial Zone (Shoham, Israel)
