Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in tax preparation and be well-versed in preparing individual (1040) and business tax returns (1120, 1120S, 1065). Attention to detail and a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and tax laws.
• Analyze financial information and identify potential tax deductions and credits.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary tax documents.
• Assist in resolving tax issues and responding to IRS notices.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all tax filings.

Requirements:

• Experience in tax preparation.
• Proficiency in tax software (e.g., Drake, Lacerte, UltraTax, etc.).
• CPA or EA certification is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with clients.
