GCG has established a strong network with key players in the Israeli and international capital markets, while focusing on the fields of M&A, Capital Markets Advisory, Corporate & Project Finance and Privatization, acting as arranger and coordinator in major transactions

We are looking to add an Associate/Analyst, to be a part of a pure deal-making team that engages with the most prominent companies in the Israeli market

As an Associate/Analyst, you will work on a broad array of transactions alongside some of the industry’s best and forward-thinking bankers, gain substantial execution experience, and have exposure to senior people at a diverse set of companies and funds

Key Responsibilities

• Producing internal and external materials including pitches, management presentations, materials for Board, etc.
• Analyzing companies using financial modelling and valuation techniques, and helping clients optimize their capital structure across products (public and private equity and debt financings, M&A, leveraged buyouts, etc.)
• Analysis of corporate finance (and/or project finance), debt and debt analysis (an advantage)
• Supporting deal execution; collaborating with senior bankers, clients, and relevant advisors through the due diligence process, performing analyses, processing legal documents, obtaining necessary approvals, and preparing marketing materials
• Collaborating with clients, banks, financial institutions, PEs, VCs, and accounting & legal advisers
• Maintaining and updating target client base per market dynamics and trends

Candidate profile

• 2-4 years of experience in either a financial advisory role, investment banking, or a corporate finance accounting/ law firm
• Demonstrated academic achievement from a top-tier university or college
• Outstanding written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills (Hebrew and English fluency a must)
• Solid interest in the financial sector; understanding of corporate finance and accounting, and strong analytical and modelling skills
• Intellectual horsepower, ability to multi-task, and strong attention to detail
• Hardworking with the ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team, driving project processes with tight deadlines
• Demonstrated professionalism and work ethic
• Proficient PC skills; advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
