Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
• 5 years of experience in people management, with technical leadership.
• 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

• Experience building cross-functional teams and influencing without authority.
• Experience growing participation and engagement in large scale products.
• Experience in consumer focused product development and customer/user requirements.
• Experience building new product experiences with product market fit.

As a Product Manager for Google Notifications Team (GaNT), you will demonstrate experience in building new product experiences, driving engagement at scale, and cross-organizational partnerships. You will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of a unified platform (GNP) that enables first-party apps to engage users through multiple notification channels (push, email, in-app). You will lead the team in setting product strategy, defining the roadmap, and ensuring the platform's continuous evolution to meet the changing needs of Google products and users.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. Responsibilities

• Develop a goal, strategy and collaborate with stakeholders, cross-functional partners, and engineers to offer a coherent roadmap for end-users and our internal partners.
• Work across product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to define, build, and support GaNT products.
• Drive decisions around cross-Google experience prioritization, and functionality.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead the product team, influence and establish best product management practices and decisions through comprehensive market and participant analysis, design decisions, processes and tools, and inspiring thought leadership.
