Jira Administrator

We are looking for a Jira Administrator to manage, configure, and optimize our Jira platform. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operations across Jira projects, workflows, and user permissions while collaborating with multiple teams to maximize Jira’s efficiency. The role includes troubleshooting, customization, and automation to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

*System Configuration & Maintenance*

• Configure Jira projects, workflows, screens, permissions, and custom fields.
• Customize Jira to meet the needs of various teams.

*User Management & Permissions*

• Manage user accounts, groups, and project roles.
• Define and maintain user permissions to ensure proper access levels.
• Support user onboarding and troubleshooting.

*Issue & Project Management*

• Set up and manage projects, ensuring correct categorization and workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Jira-related issues.
• Create and optimize filters, dashboards, and reports.

*Integration & Automation*

• Implement and manage integrations with third-party tools (e.g., Confluence, Slack, GitHub).
• Configure automation rules and workflows to streamline processes.
• Ensure seamless data flow between Jira and other internal systems.

*Troubleshooting & Support*

• Provide daily support for Jira users, troubleshooting platform-related issues.
• Act as the primary contact for Jira-related queries.

*Collaboration with Teams*

• Work closely with the Release Management Director, Scrum Masters, and other stakeholders to tailor Jira solutions to their needs.
• Gather feedback and continuously improve Jira setups and workflows.
