Financial Director

Egged is seeking a Finance Director – Accounting and Reporting to lead our accounting and financial reporting operations at the group level.

✨ Key Responsibilities:

✔ Lead and supervise an accounting team, ensuring smooth daily operations

✔ Establish and enhance accounting policies and procedures

✔ Prepare consolidated periodic and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS

✔ Oversee financial reporting processes at the group level

✔ Manage month-end, quarterly, and annual closing procedures

✔ Prepare annual reports for auditors and ensure compliance with internal and external audits

✔ Liaise with tax authorities and financial institutions

✔ Develop and improve financial processes across the group

✔ Ensure strong internal controls

💼 Requirements:

🔹 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Mandatory

🔹 Master’s degree – Advantage

🔹 At least 8 years of experience leading accounting teams

🔹 Strong leadership experience in similar roles

🔹 Experience in a BIG4 accounting firm – Advantage

🔹 In-depth knowledge of IFRS

🔹 Proficiency in SAP – Advantage

🔹 Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure

🔹 High-level English proficiency
