AME Regional Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supporting the plants in their development and the optimization of manufacturing processes. Plant locations: Europe, UK and Israel
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings across regional manufacturing operations.
• Design, implement and monitor the execution of automation & productivity projects within the plants, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
• Monitor and report on the progress of automation & productivity projects, identifying any issues or delays and developing solutions to address them.
• Build and maintain close relationships with Mfg. sites, critical business support functions in region and critical strategic external automation partners/suppliers.
• Implement and oversee the execution of productivity projects within the plants, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
• Develop and execute training programs to upskill plant engineering staff, ensuring they are equipped with the latest manufacturing engineering techniques and practices.
• Support Strategy/Footprint team when required for any product equipment transfers.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and minimum 4 years manufacturing experience
• Mfg. Automation & Process Knowledge:
• Design Automation
• Robotics
• Injection molding
• Ability to prioritize and manage time and projects effectively with a passion for excellence
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
• Basic understanding of general LEAN principals, manufacturing principles, DFM, and DFA
• Interpersonal and effective communication skills
• Troubleshooting and assessing skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage time and projects effectively with a passion for excellence
• Desire to work collaboratively
• Ability to travel up to 60% in region & international
• English
• Knowledge of robot programming a plus
