Cyber Security Engineer / Consultant (Relocation to Amsterdam)

Are you an experienced Cyber Security Consultant with at least 3 years of expertise in the field? Do you have in-depth knowledge of vulnerability scanning, security assessments, and cybersecurity? Do you understand what your client needs, and more importantly, can you explain your insights to them in a pragmatic way? Then we are looking for you! Job Description:

As a Cyber Security Consultant, you play a crucial role in protecting our clients from cyber threats and report directly to the CTO. You act as a professional discussion partner for security and IT management at prospects and clients, contributing to our company's image as a knowledge partner both in pre-sales and post-sales engagements.

Your responsibilities include:

• Advisory and implementation projects focusing on core areas, solutions, and services.
• Pre-sales support, including technical presentations of our cybersecurity, supply chain security, and third-party risk management solutions in collaboration with our sales/business development team.
• Addressing technical inquiries from our sales team and clients, as well as drafting technical descriptions for proposals.
• Maintaining periodic technical contact with clients alongside account management and customer success managers from our partners, with a focus on customer satisfaction, long-term relationships, and expansion opportunities (training, consultancy, workshops, upselling).
• Providing input for blogs and articles for online publications and serving as a discussion partner at sponsored security events to promote our solutions and services.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cyber Security Engineer/Consultant.
• In-depth knowledge of vulnerability scanning, security assessments, and cybersecurity.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are a plus.
• Strong communication skills – ability to listen to clients' concerns, clearly explain complex technical concepts, and influence key stakeholders within client organizations.
• Pragmatic mindset and analytical thinking.
• Experience in advising on solution implementations based on client technical requirements.
• Experience in writing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations.
• Excellent teamwork and independent work capabilities with a high sense of responsibility.
• English (written/spoken).
• Willingness to travel and participate in security events/conferences outside regular working hours.
